SYRACH To Enter Studio In January

December 31, 2008

Norwegian doom metallers SYRACH have issued the following update:

"We will enter studio on the January 16 to record our new album. The album will be produced by the great Bjørnar Nilsen, who did a good job on our last one as well. No title nor release date is set yet, but we hope to know more about this soon. The album will be released through Napalm Records, who also did a great job with us on 'Days Of Wrath'. We will try to keep you updated with the studio progress and maybe even post some pictures from the recordings. No promises though... some of you may have heard a song or two from the album on our live shows, but now we'll finally get them out to the rest."

SYRACH's debut album, "Days of Wrath", was produced by Herbrand Larsen from ENSLAVED and was released on November 2, 2007 in Europe and November 6, 2007 in North America via Napalm Records. The CD cover artwork is the painting "Christs" from MY DYING BRIDE vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe.

Check out audio samples on the band's MySpace page.

SYRACH was formed in 1993 in Kalandseidet, near Bergen, Norway — a region known to have spawned bands like IMMORTAL and BURZUM, to name a few.
